OTTO ROMER is Head of Cuisine & R&D Integration at Breville, and former Head of Development at the 3 Michelin starred “The Fat Duck” restaurant in Bray, UK. Over his 16 years at “the Duck”, Otto began as a stagier, progressed to the ‘Experimental Kitchen’ working across TV projects, books, and development for all restaurants within The Fat Duck Group. During the last 7 years at The Fat Duck Group, Otto became Head of Development and Partnership Development before becoming part of the Breville family in 2021.
KIRSTY SOLOMON is the Senior Development Chef at Breville/Sage - a well-seasoned Chef having worked in some of the most prestigious kitchens in Australia and England, including Head Chef for the prestigious “Guillaume at Bennelong”, and The Ledbury in Notting Hill UK. Kirsty’s passion for development is second to none. From savoury dishes to desserts, she has a great understanding of Breville products and how to develop fantastic recipes for them.
